■ Which anime conventions do you attend? Please don't respond and say "I don't go to anime conventions," because that would be pointless. Thanks.

■ I've been thinking about attending some out-of-state/out-of-country conventions for a while now, and I was wondering just how many anime conventions people have been to or recommend attending.

■ Here are some of the conventions that I attend...
   * Animarathon
   - Location: Bowling Green, Ohio
   - Price: FREE!
      + This convention's completely free and a lot of fun! This year, ~Dancing-Queen-Yuki attended with me and we had a blast! <3 This convention isn't as popular since it's student ran, but it's definately recommended if you're near the Ohio area!

   * Youmacon
   - Location: Detroit (or Troy), Michigan
   - Price: Around $15-$20
      + This was the convention where I met voice actor Wayne Grayson, the dude who did Joey Wheeler's voice in my favorite anime, Yu-Gi-Oh!. The first time we went, my friends and I did a huge Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplay group, and got our pictures taken quite a lot. The second time we went my friend ~Kyosis and we were Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie. xP This is a great convention! Definitely recommended if you like a bigger crowd at conventions!

   * Matsuricon
   - Location: Columbus, Ohio (around that area)
   - Price: Around $15-$20
      + The day we went wasn't as crowded, and we were pretty much walking around doing nothing most of the time. ~Kyosis and I cosplayed as Sneasel and Smeargle at this one and got quite a few good reactions. We did meet a Digimon voice actor there (I don't remember his name, but he was the one who voiced Armadillomon, or something like that xD) and watched a new anime (again, I forget which one) but that's about all we did. Warning: If you want to have more fun, go on a Saturday! xD; We picked the wrong day to attend. I can't give you my honest opinion about this one, but if you'd like to give it a shot, be sure to go on Saturday.

   * ColossalCon
   - Location: Sandusky, Ohio
   - Price: Around $20
      + This is probably THE BEST convention I've ever been to! There were tons of people at the Kalahari Water Park for this convention, and it was a beautiful day! We met tons of awesome people and had a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this one! You won't be disappointed!
